Art Exposure was founded by Somak Mitra in 2018 in Kolkata, India with an insatiable passion for art. Embodying a legacy of art, we envision a platform to attain a harmonious equilibrium through an exquisite blend of modern and contemporary art. Art Exposure has showcased meaningfully-curated large-scale exhibitions on various occasions and represents artists like Amitava, Buddhadev Mukherjee, Jogen Chowdhury, Shimul Saha, Suruchi Choksi to name a few. In order to endorse the complex aesthetics of contemporary art, the gallery is equipped with a thriving and dynamic ecosystem with a focus on celebrating art in its essentiality. With its thrust on the exploration of the dialogic component of the artist’s vision through comprehensive documentation and critical analyses, Art Exposure has also ventured into the publication of books and catalogues of discursive and archival significance. Our aim is to strengthen the bridge between modern and contemporary art through our curatorial programme and research-oriented publications.
