Viraj Khanna grew up surrounded by art, especially textiles and embroidery, which he says helped him develop a certain aesthetic though he has not formally studied art. He believes that creativity is not inborn; rather, practice helps improve art. Even though fashion would have been the obvious choice, his dream back then was mostly centred around sports. But things began to change with time.
Deconstruction and reassembling visuals everyday is a part of Viraj Khanna’s creative process. Attention deepens his entire process of creation and is imperative to his personality. Collages have been an integral part of his creation and he enjoys the deep sense of accomplishment that comes when he can master the craft that requires full attention. Viraj Khanna strongly believes that creativity is shaped by the environment and the more you actively work on creativity, the more creative you become.
