Buddhadev Mukherjee (b.1976,Kolkata) has studied fine arts (painting) and printmaking at Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan (BFA) and MS University,Baroda (MFA) respectively. In 2012, he received a scholarship to study at the China Academy of Art,Hangzhou.
 
Mukherjee has participated in various artist residencies include Da Wang Culture Highland International Artist-in-Residency, Shenzhen, China (2013), Camp in Visakhapatnam organized by Hanoku Kampa (2010), Camp in Ghari Studio organized by Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi (2007).
