Art Exposure presents the first-ever landmark exhibition dedicated to Bhunath Mukherjee, one of Bengal’s most accomplished yet understated modernist painters. Titled A Modernist Lineage of Bengali Portraiture, the show brings together 10 rare portraits spanning the 1940s to 1950s, charting Mukherjee’s journey from academic realism to a refined modernist sensibility.
