Art Exposure debuts at Frieze Seoul with Reba Hore's moving works

August 28, 2026

Frieze Seoul 2026 is all set to kick off its fifth edition, and representing India and making its debut will be Art Exposure with Reba Hore's highly evocative paintings.

Hore, who is one of the most singular voices in postwar Indian modernism and whose tactile and psychologically charged paintings continue to resonate with striking contemporary relevance, will be part of Frieze’s Spotlight section that is dedicated to solo presentations of 20th-century artists. Curated by Wonseok Koh, director of Line Cultural Foundation, Hore will be joining 11 other South Asian artists, including Djordje Ivačković (Double Q), Hoon Kwak (PNC Gallery), Etsuko Nakatsuji (Yoshiaki Inoue Gallery), Po Po (Ames Yavuz), Youngsoo Han (Baik), Nobuo Sekine (YOD Gallery) and others, in the South Korean venue.
