R.B. Shajith (b. 1981) pursued a B.F.A. from Kerala Sanskrit University and an M.F.A. in painting from the Fine Arts College in Thiruvananthapuram.
His selected solo and group exhibitions include Keraleeyam Exhibition (1999); Harmony Show, Mumbai (2005); Art Chennai Exhibition (2012); IWS UAE International Watercolor Exhibition, Sharjah/Dubai (2018); and Kochi Biennale (2025–26). Their recent exhibitions include Monsoon Dialogues, Gallery Dotwalk (August 2026); State Exhibition, Kerala Lalithakala Akademi (2003, 2004, 2015, 2018); Big Zero, Kerala Lalithakala Akademi (2006); Regional Art Exhibition, Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Chennai (2012); Myth and Land, Kollam (2015); and No Man's Land, White Walls Gallery, Ernakulam (2016).
Alongside their artistic practice, Shajith has also undertaken curatorial projects, including Here and Elsewhere, Kerala Lalithakala Akademi (2025), and Where the Earth Melts, Lalithakala Akademi Gallery (2025).
His accolades include the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi State Award (2015, 2018, 2021). Shajith's works are held in collections including Air India; National College of Art, New Delhi; Olga Titus, Switzerland; Jefferson Puff, Germany; and Art & Soul Gallery, Chennai.
